Identity Narrative
Book Club Radio, founded by DJs Tinzo+Jojo in 2023, has grown from a casual group chat into a phone-free pop-up dance club. Their events create real-time connections, and recap mixes on YouTube and Instagram extend that energy beyond the dance floor.
The brand identity captures this raw, dynamic energy, blending spontaneity with a sleek aesthetic. A motion montage highlights the brand’s evolution and its focus on authentic, immersive experiences.



Motion Montage
A key aspect of this identity was creating a montage that offers a glimpse into the world of Book Club Radio and its future evolution. Book Club Radio embodies an energetic, almost hyperactive identity while intentionally steering away from the typical “clubby” aesthetic.
I transformed it into a lifestyle brand, a concept reflected in the montage. By extending the brand’s typography, graphic elements, interface design, social media presence, and video footage, the montage captures not only the unique atmosphere of Book Club Radio but also the diverse audience it resonates with.

Logo Design
The Book Club Radio logo features a tilted, tightly kerned logotype to reflect the high-energy, intimate vibe of their events. The close spacing symbolizes the sense of connection within crowded spaces.
It comes in two versions: a full-word format for larger uses and a stacked version for smaller spaces, ensuring versatility. This design captures the brand’s dynamic, communal energy while remaining impactful across all applications.

Collateral
I created a range of collateral for Book Club Radio, including social media assets, signage, cassette designs, and motion graphics, all tailored to their vibrant brand. Each piece was designed to reflect the high-energy, community-driven atmosphere of their events while ensuring consistency across platforms.
By focusing on adaptability, I developed assets that could evolve with the brand’s growth. The result is a cohesive brand experience that captures the spirit of Book Club Radio and connects with their audience.
